Blade Flip.
Flip a knife through fruit, cheese and colorful skewers. Clear forty courses and land a score multiplier.
How to play Blade Flip
- Press Play to load the knife and your current journey course. Use Courses to select any of the forty layouts, Daily or Endless.
- Tap the scene, click the canvas or press Space to launch. Release between inputs; holding the button does not automatically repeat.
- Watch the cutting edge as it turns. Let the blade descend through food to collect points, then tap again to rise.
- Use white ledges as safe stops. Cross gaps with extra taps and keep the whole knife away from the pink spike trays.
- Near the finish, adjust your height to hit a favorable score band. Its printed symbol tells you how it changes your slice score.
- Check the result, replay for a higher medal, copy your score or continue. A BONUS finish offers a free extra harvest course.

About Blade Flip
Blade Flip is a free one-button knife flip game about timing a small action well. Tap the scene and the knife jumps forward while turning through the air. Tap again before it lands to renew its lift and rotation. Let it descend and the sharp part of the blade can pass through fruit, cheese, bread and colorful skewers. The challenge is to stay low enough to collect slices while keeping enough height to cross an empty gap or clear a tray of pointed spikes. You do not drag the knife or steer left and right: the timing of each flip is your control.
The journey contains forty original courses arranged across Orchard Trail, Golden Grove, Seaside Picnic and Highland Harvest. Early layouts make room to practice fruit rows, safe landings and repeated taps over a gap. Later courses combine tall stacks, sloping ledges, steel pads and hazards in longer sequences. Every course is available from the course menu, so you can practice a difficult section without unlocking the entire journey first. Courses have fixed layouts, and the physics runs at a fixed simulation step. Repeating the same input timing produces the same movement and collisions.
White platforms are safe resting places. A knife can settle flat on top of a ledge and wait for the next tap, and a raised wall can catch it at the side. Gray steel pads bounce the knife, changing its momentum. Pink trays carry visible pointed spikes; touching those points with any part of the knife ends the attempt. Falling below the course also ends it, but you can still tap while falling through a gap if you react before the knife drops too far. The retry button immediately reloads the same course, with no advertisement or countdown between attempts.
Each sliced object adds points. A regular piece of food is worth five and a colored skewer segment is worth three. The finish is a vertical tower of score bands with different heights and mathematical symbols. A multiplication band increases your collected score, an addition band adds a fixed amount, and subtraction or division reduces it. Your blade’s contact height selects the band. Narrow high-value bands take more precise timing than large ones. Hitting BONUS triples the slice score and opens a free harvest course after you view the result. Finishing below the numbered bands keeps your base score.
Medals reward both collecting and finishing. Clear a course to earn bronze, slice at least fifty-five percent of its objects to earn silver, or slice at least eighty-five percent and finish with twice your base score or more to earn gold. A replay can improve your best score and medal without taking an earlier record away. Turn on Your Best Ghost in the course menu to see a translucent replay of your own saved taps on that course. The ghost never collides with your knife or changes a score. It is a local personal record, not another online player.
Daily provides a course determined by the displayed UTC date. The course changes at midnight UTC, and clearing it on consecutive dates builds your daily streak. The result button copies a short text summary containing the course, score, slice count and flip count. Endless creates a seeded series of courses that becomes longer as you continue. Journey, Daily and Endless use the same movement rules. Three handle finishes become available from your total earned coins; choosing a different finish never changes the knife’s size, lift, spin or collision shape.
Blade Flip supports touch in portrait and landscape, alongside mouse and keyboard controls. It pauses when the page loses focus, and the pause menu gives you time to restart, read the instructions or choose another course. Sound effects are synthesized in your browser and can be muted. Reduced motion removes the blade trail and floating score feedback while keeping the movement needed to play. Progress, records, cosmetic choices and settings stay in this browser when local storage is available. There is no account, no progress synchronization between devices and no purchase needed to play a course.
A flip you can learn
Every tap gives the knife the same lift, forward speed and rotation. Time another tap in midair, settle on a safe white ledge, or let the edge descend through a row of fruit.
Cut through the course
Apples, oranges, melons, coconuts, bread, cheese and colored skewers separate into two pieces along the blade’s angle. Original three-dimensional models reveal a fresh surface inside each cut.
Forty courses and a daily
Four districts bring different arrangements of ramps, gaps, stacks, spikes and steel pads. Replay for medals, compare with your own saved ghost, or take on the same daily course as everyone else.
A little help for your next high score
- A short pause between taps lets the blade reach lower objects. Constant tapping can carry you above a row without slicing it.
- A safe landing gives you unlimited time to plan the next hop. There is no timer counting down while you rest.
- Look a little ahead of the knife. Begin lifting before a gap or spike tray reaches the blade.
- The narrowest finish bands reward precision. Read the operator as well as the number before aiming.
- Use your own best ghost to compare the timing of two attempts. Cosmetic handles all follow the same physics.
Good questions
How do I control the knife in Blade Flip?
Tap, click or press Space to give the knife a forward hop and spin. You can tap again while airborne. Releasing between taps matters; holding a button does not repeat the action.
What happens when the knife lands?
White ledges let it settle and wait for another tap. A raised white side can catch it too. Gray steel pads bounce, while pointed pink spikes end the attempt. Falling below the course also ends the run.
How do the finish targets work?
The blade’s contact height selects a band. Multiplication and addition improve your collected score; subtraction and division reduce it. BONUS triples the slice score and offers a free extra harvest course.
How can I earn a gold medal?
Clear the course, slice at least eighty-five percent of its objects and finish with at least twice your collected slice score. Fifty-five percent earns silver, and any clear earns bronze. Your best medal stays saved.
Does the daily course use the same layout for everyone?
Yes. Its layout is determined by the UTC date shown in the game. It changes at midnight UTC. Clearing consecutive daily courses builds a local streak, and replaying the same date can improve your score.
Can I play on a phone, and is progress saved?
Yes. Touch works in portrait and landscape, with optional fullscreen. Scores, medals, personal ghosts and settings are saved in this browser when local storage is available. There is no account or cross-device synchronization.
