Dude Mini Games
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what stays in your browser, what information is needed to deliver the site, and what happens when you contact us or use an online feature.
Last updated
Browser saves and preferences
Games can use local storage to remember progress, scores, sound settings and other preferences. The site also stores your saved-game list and theme choice on your device. These browser saves are not automatically uploaded as a cloud backup.
You can remove them through your browser’s settings for site data. This also removes the associated progress and preferences. Private browsing, storage restrictions and clearing browser data can prevent saves from persisting.
Hosting and security information
Visiting the site sends ordinary web-request information to the hosting service, including an IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Our hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, may process this information to deliver pages, diagnose errors and protect the service from abuse.
Operational records are kept only as needed for those purposes and applicable obligations. They are separate from the progress saved locally by a game.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer the inquiry, investigate the issue and maintain relevant support records. Please send only the information needed for your request. You can ask us to delete your correspondence, subject to information we need to retain for security or legal reasons.
Optional online Chess rooms
When online rooms are available and you choose to use one, the game service processes your chosen display name, room identifier, moves, game state, clocks and connection information so both players see the same match. A room credential stored in your browser lets you reconnect to your seat; do not share that credential. Your opponent can see your display name and moves.
Rooms expire rather than serving as a permanent account history. The service uses security limits to protect room creation and connections. You can play computer or local two-player Chess without joining an online room.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which games people play and how well the site works. It records pages viewed, the site that referred you, visit length, device and browser type, screen size and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not send it your name, email address or game saves. Google’s advertising features are switched off: advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization are all denied.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_… that hold a random identifier for up to two years so that return visits can be counted. Google processes this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can block cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We do not run advertising. Browser storage used for gameplay and preferences is described above. We do not sell personal information.
External links and children’s information
Links to other websites, including reference and license pages, are governed by those sites’ policies when you visit them. Parents and carers should guide children’s use of the games and avoid sending children’s personal information in support messages. Contact us if you believe such information was sent to us.
Your choices and questions
You can clear local site data, choose whether to use online features and decide what to include in an email. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
Send privacy questions to support@dudeminigames.com. For other game issues, see Contact. The date above identifies the latest policy update.
