How to play Bubble Bay
- Press Play and choose Sail into the bay for the Voyage, the Daily Tide, or Harbor Run.
- Read the goal at the top: clear the colored bubbles, free every pearl, or reach the target score within your shots.

- Let go to launch. Three or more touching bubbles of one color pop, and anything left without a connection to the ceiling falls.

- Finish the goal for up to three stars, then continue to the next harbor or replay for a better result.

About Bubble Bay
Bubble Bay is an original aim-and-match bubble shooter set along a small illustrated coast. Glossy coral, lagoon, gold, iris, sky and kelp bubbles hang from a wooden pier beam. Your brass launcher sends one bubble along a dotted guide. When it lands so that three or more bubbles of one color touch, that group pops, and every bubble that no longer hangs from the ceiling falls into the water for double points. One well-placed shot can drop a whole cluster.
The Voyage has 120 harbors in eight chapters: Little Coves, Coral Coast, Seaglass Shallows, Puffer Point, Lantern Harbor, Starfish Reef, Sunset Passage and The Open Sea. Each chapter has its own time of day and introduces something new. Clear harbors ask for every colored bubble. Pearl rescues are won when every ivory pearl has fallen free. Catch of the day harbors are won the moment you reach a target score. In tide harbors the ceiling drops one row every few shots, so the low-water line creeps closer. Harbors open one after another, and after two attempts you can sail past a hard one and return later.
Special pieces change how a bay plays. Barnacle rocks never pop and must be dropped by cutting what holds them up. Clam shells hide a bubble until a group pops right beside them. Puffers burst when a shot touches them or a neighboring group pops, and they set off other puffers. Touch a starfish with a bubble and every bubble of that color disappears. Each special is introduced with a short card the first time it appears.
Every popped or dropped bubble fills the tide meter around the launcher. When it is full you can load Seaglass, which matches any color it touches, a Puffer burst that clears everything within two bubbles, or a Riptide that sweeps away the row it lands in. Powers unlock as the Voyage goes on. They are earned only by playing; there is no shop, currency or advertisement to watch. A full meter left unused is cashed in for bonus points when you finish.
The aiming guide runs the whole way to the landing spot, including bank shots off either wall, and a ghost bubble shows exactly where the shot will stop. The guide and the shot use the same trajectory and snapping rules, and a shot can thread a neat gap between two bubbles. Each harbor's reference solution was found and replayed with those same rules and the same dealt queue, and every reference aim has a comfortable window, so the solutions do not depend on pixel-perfect precision.
Stars reward efficient play: finish in the reference number of shots for three stars, or within two more for two. Unused shots add a bonus to your score. If you run out of shots, you can keep going once with three extra shots for a one-star finish instead of starting over. Free hints show a golden guide, taken from the verified route while you follow it and from a best-shot search once you leave it.
The Daily Tide is one new bay every day, the same for every player, with a descending ceiling and 26 shots. Stars come from how much of the bay you clear, your best result is kept for the day, and a streak counts consecutive days played. Harbor Run is the endless classic: every few misses the tide pushes a new row down, colors and specials increase as your score climbs, and your best run is saved.
Colors always come with a distinct symbol, so matches read without relying on color vision. The game plays in portrait or landscape on phones, with the bay taking most of the screen, and with mouse, touch or keyboard on desktop. Progress, stars, daily results and sound preference save in this browser without an account. Reduced-motion settings remove screen shake and particle bursts while keeping every rule the same.
120 verified harbors
Eight chapters run from Little Coves to The Open Sea. Every harbor ships with a replayed solution that uses the exact bubble queue you are dealt, so no level is left to luck.
Earned, never bought
Popping bubbles fills the tide meter for Seaglass, Puffer burst and Riptide powers. Hints are free, there are no lives or timers, and a harbor that runs out of shots can continue once.
A new bay every day
The Daily Tide gives everyone the same bay each day, with stars, a streak and a result you can share. Harbor Run is the classic endless bay where missed shots bring down a new row.
A little help for your next high score
- Aim for the bubbles that hold a big cluster to the ceiling. Dropped bubbles score double, and six or more at once score even more.
- Check the ghost bubble before a bank shot. A tiny change in angle can move the landing to a different neighbor.
- Keep a streak going: every consecutive popping shot raises the score multiplier, up to double.
- On pearl harbors, work on the colors above the pearls. Pearls never match, but they fall as soon as their support is gone.
- Save a full tide meter for a crowded moment, such as a Puffer burst into a mixed cluster or a Riptide across a low row.
- Stuck? A hint is free and follows the verified route while you are still on it.
Good questions
How do bubbles pop?
A launched bubble must touch a connected group so that at least three bubbles of the same color and symbol are joined. That group pops, then every bubble without a remaining connection to the ceiling falls.
Can every harbor be finished?
Yes. Each of the 120 harbors has a verified solution that was replayed with the real game rules and the exact bubble queue you receive, and every reference aim has a comfortable window. Different choices can still lead to a failed attempt, which you can retry immediately.
How do I rescue pearls?
Remove the colored bubbles that connect the ivory pearls to the ceiling. Pearls cannot be matched directly. A pearl harbor is complete when every pearl has fallen, even if some bubbles remain.
What are the tide meter powers?
Popping and dropping bubbles fills the meter. When it is full you can load Seaglass, which matches any color, a Puffer burst, which clears everything within two bubbles, or a Riptide, which clears the row it lands in. Powers are only earned by playing.
What happens when I run out of shots?
You can keep going once with three extra shots; a harbor finished that way earns one star. You can also retry right away, and after two attempts you may skip ahead and come back later.
What is the Daily Tide?
A new bay each day that is the same for every player. You have 26 shots and a descending ceiling. Clearing 60 percent earns one star, 85 percent two, and the whole bay three. Your best result and daily streak are saved.
What does Bubble Bay save?
Voyage progress, stars, records, an unfinished harbor, Daily Tide results, your Harbor Run best and your sound choice save in this browser when storage is available. Nothing syncs across devices and no account is needed.
